Modern Community Living at Makley Place
Welcome to Makley Place! A mixed-use community that features condominiums, luxury apartment living, and instant access to the shops and restaurants of the Short North Arts District. The leasing office, community center, and model living spaces were designed by a talented local interior designer, Sarah of Sarah Sullivan Designs. We were thrilled to help her bring her vision to life with fresh Trove finds!
Rich butterscotch leather creates a warm welcome for the residents of Makley Place. A matching set of Lex leather chairs and a vibrant vintage rug greet you at the front door. This entryway setting is centered around the round Edmund table, which contrasts the warm leather with a textured charcoal finish.
This open seating area strikes the perfect balance between modern and cozy. The Cabell swivel chairs feature stylish exposed wood detailing and can be customized in the fabric of your choice. The Nolita leather sofa is the star of the show here with a casual, clean-lined look. The final touches are the jet black Nalo coffee table and a neutral jute rug to tie it all together.
An inspiring space to work remotely or catch up over coffee with a friend, this cozy nook features a set of three Hinton bistro tables. Each table is paired with a metallic Earthshine pendant, an upholstered dining bench, and the modern Atticus leather chair.
Designed with connection and community in mind, this space features a set of glossy black bar tables and a reclaimed teak dining table. The natural teak finish on the Kayson dining table looks effortlessly stylish paired with the leather Justina dining chairs.
In a model two-bedroom apartment, sunlight streams in through the windows and reflects off the light, neutral fabrics. Black, white, and natural wood elements are layered throughout the room and it’s all tied together with a printed terracotta rug.
The Bressler sofa is a clean, linear frame upholstered in an ivory performance fabric. The Lanae chairs keep the space feeling open & airy with a slender iron base. Behind the sofa, the Balsa bar table and a set of black Emie bar stools function as an everyday dining space.
Our last stop on the tour was a studio apartment featuring the tufted Corina sofa and a vintage-inspired 5’ x 7’ rug. This was the perfect combination to cozy up this space without overcrowding it.
Once again, Sarah Sullivan Designs completes another incredible project featuring so many favorite Trove finds! We are excited to see residents enjoying the common spaces and getting inspired by the model units. Whether you are renovating a home or designing a commercial space, the Trove team is always here to help with your next project!
