Modern Lake House in South Vienna

This stunning lake house was designed as a weekend getaway for a family of six hailing from Hilliard, Ohio. Tall windows line the west-facing wall, welcoming in a stream of natural light to keep the living space open and airy. White shiplap on the vaulted ceiling adds a touch of cozy lake house charm.




The clean edges and parquet pattern on the Geoffe bunching tables contribute to the modern look of the living room. The arched Bell cabinet contrasts the soft gray walls with a matte black finish. 




A bright and inviting kitchen serves as the hub of the home. Navy cabinetry contrasts beautifully against crisp white walls. Underneath the marble countertops, a set of Laurent stools slide neatly into place. Warm wood accents and a set of rattan dining chairs add natural texture to the space.




After a busy day of doing cannonballs into the lake, the little ones will need a place to rest. The children's bedroom is accented with playful pops of color and a set of repurposed metal letters. The Theo accent table is flanked by a set of bunk beds, perfect for sleepovers.



The lower level was designed as a cozy retreat for friends and family to enjoy. The homeowners found this vintage racing sign hidden underneath the floor in an old book store they were renovating. They decided to have it framed and incorporate a piece of Hilliard history into their home! 



A day at the lake house would be wasted if you didn’t take a moment to appreciate this gorgeous view! We can imagine many cool summer evenings gathered around the fire pit, roasting marshmallows and making memories.
