Trove On The Go: A Classic Home with an Eclectic Twist

Whether your home is a beachy cape cod, a mid century ranch or a traditional colonial, Trove On The Go can help inspire you and make your home even more you. The second installment of our TOTG journal series took us to this beautiful home in Blacklick, OH. It was so fun to see the pieces they chose to complete their look!

Walking in the front door we were greeted by two small wagging tails and tons of amazing Trove finds. One of the first spaces the homeowners wanted to create with their TOTG designer was a casual sitting area in their bedroom. They chose two of our favorite Kara swivel chairs upholstered in a soft blue fabric and paired them with a custom tufted ottoman. We love the calm, relaxing feel this setting adds to the room.

An upholstered mantle panel bed with a rustic washed finish adds warmth accompanied by clean cream linens.

We absolutely love how the finished product looks effortless, comfortable and homey.

This gorgeous console with fretwork detailing adds function and contrast.

One of our favorite parts of this home is the addition of art collected by the homeowners during their travels. Each piece adds personality and reminds them of memories made together throughout the years.

The living room is bursting with ornate architectural detailing and warm traditional wood. It's all topped off with tons of fun and funky personal touches (Hi Betty!)

The owners loved the warm tones in their home and worked together with their designer to pull in some cooler pieces for balance. This gorgeous area rug was custom made to bring in a soft touch of slate gray and the patterned pillows pull everything together. 

Four tufted high-back dining chairs add comfortable elegance to this little nook off of the living room. It's such a perfect space to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an after dinner conversation with friends.

The dining room is absolutely filled with bright, natural light which allows this rich dark wood pedestal table to stand out without overwhelming the space. Soft upholstered dining chairs with carefully placed nailhead detailing add a finishing touch.
