Chapter 2: P13

Trove Style: Explore Our Favorite Dining Rooms

The dining room is the center of your home. It sets the stage for memories to be made around the table, from celebratory toasts, to evenings full of laughter and casual weeknight dinners as a family. Whether it steals the show and speaks to your bold, modern aesthetic or comfortably fades into the background while your guests enjoy their time, deciding upon your dining room style should be fun! Follow along with us and get inspired for your own space as we check out some of our favorite dining rooms!

Light and Airy

Karen and Shane's white on white dining room is the epitome of classic. A delicately patterned area rug brings in just a touch of color without taking away from the simplicity of the space. The tone on tone look allows the structural detailing of the box-beam ceiling and spindle back chairs to shine.

This cozy breakfast nook by Cassandra LaValle with Coco.Kelley has the same fresh, light feel and changes it up a bit with a washed wood pedestal table and clean-lined dining chairs.

Comfortable Contrast

If you love the idea of a look that's simplistic and timeless with a punch more contrast, try bringing in layers of texture like rich espresso leather or dramatic captain's chairs like the Mia shown here. A traditional rectangular dining table that expands with additional leaves adds versatility and room for your guests!

A similar look gets a fresh twist in this beautiful dining room by Amanda's Home Design. She added a modern farmhouse touch with rustic reclaimed wood and softened it with tufted, roll back dining chairs.

Timeless and Rustic

Nicole and Jimmy's dining room has an ethereal feel with ten exposed frame oval back chairs and just the right amount of formality. Their salvaged wood dining table gives the setting rustic texture and a glowy crystal chandelier draws your eye with a touch of femininity.

Alicia with Our Vintage Nest created a similar style in her home and amped up the farmhouse feel with patterned navy rug that's contrasted by sheer buffalo check curtains.

Bold and Modern

Delilah's dining room will forever be one of our favorite spaces. Ink black walls add drama that's lightened by flowy white curtains and a modern, blown glass statement chandelier. Her dining table is strikingly sleek with upholstered captain's chairs and the Kinzie mango wood accent bench which lends contrast.

Amber Interiors absolutely blew us away with this moody dining room featuring modern pieces that give a nod to retro. She chose a structural brass chandelier and woven, open back dining chairs that create visual texture that's off the charts beautiful! (photography by Tessa Neustadt)

Easygoing and Inviting

Functional, comfortable and tonal, Pam's dining room is the perfect place for a big family meal! She chose a solid birch dining table in a warm grey finish and added complementary dining benches to easily accommodate a crowd.

Brooke and Tyler with Mitchell Made Farmhouse created a space that has cozy charm written all over it. White shiplap walls set the stage for an open and airy space for friends to gather.

Bright and Eclectic

Gold walls add warmth to Sharon's eclectic and fun dining room! She paired her existing dining table with modern, industrial metal chairs that are functional for her busy family. The beaded Etienne chandelier has to be one of our favorite elements in this space. We think it adds such whimsical movement!

Emily Henderson recently featured a similar design and it's just as effortlessly chic and stylish as everything we'd expect from her! She switched up her look using a glossy white vintage tulip table and warm wood bistro chairs that mimic the same curving lines.

Detailed and Feminine

Soft patterns and cool tones create a soothing space in Anne's dining room. A washed cream dining table is the centerpiece accented with two custom upholstered captain's chairs to anchor it. Every item has delicately feminine patterns that bring the space to life!

Kim Hazel's beautiful dining room is centered around a classic round pedestal table with tufted wing chairs that add height.

Farmhouse Comfort

This beachy lake house in Apple Valley has the perfect little breakfast nook with a touch of farmhouse charm. The owners had this pedestal table custom made for their space and surrounded it with cozy built in benches and sleek, industrial counter stools.

Take the same look and give it a modern touch with sleek 1930's cantilevered chairs and an enamel dining table like Emily Henderson did with this bright space.

Great selection of dining tables and the different styles. The white oval shabby chic pedestal table in the lovely eat-in kitchen was our favorite! Thanks for posting!
